About Johanna Ngoh

I’ve spent more than twenty years searching out great spirits and the people who make them. Whisky for the most part, but Armagnac, rhum and fortified wines also hold a special place in my heart. My wing man on these journeys is Charles Anderson, my husband and partner.

Together we created the Spirit of Toronto, Canada’s premiere whisky show since 2004, which led to 4 years of publishing Distilled, a print magazine dedicated to the craft and culture of fine spirits.

Subscribers receive regular dispatches from our travels and notes on my Cellar-Book, as well as access to selected archives from print issues of the magazine.
